La Solana – Spain

This 6.5 MWp solar project in the arid plains of Southern Spain was carried out for an investment fund of the German company KGAL. With an annual energy output of nearly 10 million kWh, the plant also generates an income stream for the neighboring municipality of La Solana.

At the time of the completion of La Solana in 2008, the engineer Manfred Bächler, current member of the AD Cleantech team, acted as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for the general contractor of the project.
